Good board, fast shipping

I ordered a Nexys A7 board for a project. It shipped out pretty quick, got to me in about 4 days which was nice. The board itself worked fine right out of the box, documentation was easy enough to follow online. No issues setting it up.

Decent price for Discovery 2

I finally picked up an Analog Discovery 2. I was looking for a good deal and snagged it during their clearance sale, which saved me a decent chunk of change. Paid about 30% less than I expected to. Felt like I got my money's worth, especially with what these things usually go for. It'll be super useful for my electronics class.

Hey guys, wondering about the Analog Discovery 3. Is it really that much better than the 2 for someone just learning FPGAs and basic circuits? Or should I save some cash and go with the AD2?

P Paisley Ortiz 1 week ago
From what I hear, the AD3 is definitely an upgrade, faster sampling and more memory. But for just starting out, the AD2 is still super capable. A lot of schools still use it.

Yeah, if you're on a budget and learning, the AD2 is solid. The AD3 is more for when you need that extra performance or if your projects get really complex later. For basic stuff, AD2 is totally fine.
